It’s one of Australia’s most scenic drives and you can also enjoy this spectacular region on foot with an eight-day one-way 104k hike. The most impressive stretch is via the clifftop path along the Twelve Apostles coastline, between Princetown and Glenample. Other highlights of the walk include wildlife-rich wetlands, casuarina forests and windswept beaches that hint of shipwrecks.

The Wreck Beach Walk section is challenging, while most of the trek is rated easy to medium. There are plenty of campsites, ecolodges and hotels along the way.
