Reach Australia’s highest peak, the 2,228m summit of Mount Kosciuszko, in less than five hours…with a little help from Thredbo’s chairlift, that is. Take the chairlift up as far as you can go, then this 14k moderate intensity walk will take you past Rams Head Range’s rugged granite outcrops, through heathlands, Lake Cootapatamba and loop around over the Snowy River.
