WINEGLASS BAY CIRCUIT

WINEGLASS BAY CIRCUIT

Wineglass Bay in Freycinet National Park is considered one of the most picturesque beaches in Australia, with a crescent of white sand and sapphire sea, it’s the dazzling reward for this 12k hike.

One of Tasmania’s Great Short Walks, this hike rises steeply to the Wineglass Bay lookout, here you can revel in the views of the beautiful bay before the track descends to the beach itself. Watch out for some of the park’s quirky wildlife, wombats, wallabies, and the eastern quoll.

When: The summer months of December through April are best, when the days are longer and the weather warmer.
